Los primeros peluches de osos Teddy tenían facciones de forma y tamaño cercanos a los de osos reales. Con el tiempo, adquirieron ojos más grandes, frentes más altas y hocicos más cortos. Facciones ahora más semejantes a las de bebés humanos, que la evolución hizo abrazar con más calidez a los adultos humanos para que cuiden de ellos. Por cierto, los adultos pagan en la juguetería, así que deben controlarse y no gastar de más: estudios de comportamiento muestran que los menores de cuatro no notan la diferencia.
